So there's this movie on Lifetime, Pregnancy Pact. I remember over Winter Break when Lancy and I were in Southern California with Connie (I can't for the life of me remember the plaza we were in -__-) we saw the poster for it. I was like, "What the hex is that?" O.o Anyway, I found out for myself last night when the movie was on.
I must say, it's like what Beckie always says to me about certain books we read "Like watching a train wreck happen and being unable to look away."
In summation, the movie was about these 15 year old girls in high school who were all... hmm... wanting (?) to get pregnant. I'm not sure "want" is exactly appropriate... but yeah. As you can imagine, it's almost like The Secret Life of the American Teenager. They make the girls look like idiots so that the recently sexually active viewers go "Holy shit she's dumb, I'm never gonna do that."
The movie was sad... not like sit-there-with-a-box-of-Kleenex sad, but wow-I-feel-bad-for-you-people sad. I really hope there aren't really people out there who are that oblivious. But at the end of the movie, I decided that those "oblivious people" couldn't really be blamed. Times are changing and they just didn't wanna catch up.
On a completely unrelated note, I dyed my hair with BLONDE hairdye and NOTHING happened. My roots didn't even take the color like it usually does. I'm guessing my hair wasn't in the best shape to be dyed.
I'll try again soon lol. Anyone for a dying party?

Spring Break!
For me, Spring Break began when Carolina came on Thursday :). We took Friday to the vet and he gained ONE pound LMAO. He's sucha cutie!
This was how small he was when we got him lol.

Anyway, Linae came later that day. I think Friday takes a liking to her cause she looks like me. Packed everything up, and gave Friday to Karen and Richard for their long ride down to Rayland.

Sweet Cream and Black Sesame from Tara's! It was sooooo yummy :). The Sweet Cream tastes sorta like the Creme Fraiche from Ici.

The next day, Linae and I went to Wing Stop! I wish I had a picture of our delicious wings :(
Saturday: Beach Day with Linae, Jess, Treesa, and Tam. Dinner at Burma Superstar, bumped into Ms. Savin!

Ocean Beach

Rainbow Salad @Burma Superstar

Mango Beef

Burmese Lamb Curry

Duck Noodles

Egg Noodles
Sunday: Dim Sum with the family.
Monday: Shopping with Majee and Linae
Tuesday: Hero got serviced and a wash! Hopefully it doesn't rain again :(
Wednesday: Quickie at Caronita's :)
Thursday: Brunch with Scotty and Kristina. Lancy came over to MJ. We all split and then Jay, Elena, and Chris came too. The day ended with wings on Lombard :D NOMNOMNOM

Cool one we found near the wing place :)
Friday: Dumpling Shop with Linae, Jess, and Kevin. Then dessert. Then Jess' house. Then picked up Treesa from Skyline. Then post office. Then home. Then brother. Then home again. Then sushi boat on Geary and dessert at Creations!

Spicy Sesame Noodles @Shanghai Dumpling Shop

Savory Rice Roll

Xiao Long Bao!

Deep Fried Buns with Condensed Milk

Honey Jelly drink or something @Creations

Sweet Paste with Peanut Sesame Sugar mix @Creations

Kevin's order, only the pudding is phenomenal.

Linae's order is tasteless and has sour mangos -__-
Today: I will touch up my hair :). I'm happy for that, my roots are growing out and Rayland doesn't like the chem smell. Hopefully it will go away by the time he comes back! On Thursday :)
Anyway... the following picture summarizes my Spring Break:

I know it's Mack from CSI:NY, but my true loves lie in the original CSI and CSI:Miami :)

I'm FREE After Today's Midterm
While Studying for MT: 10 minutes has passed
While on FB but supposed to be Studying for MT: 1 hour has passed
-____- I have got to learn to not be so distracted. I figured being away from Friday and heading to the library would save me. I lie :(.
On the plus side, Jee was struggling with the problem set too! Makes me feel less incompetent.
Tomorrow is my BofA interview, seems like a relief after I have to endure this insanity about International Trade.
On a side note, I noticed the man cutting the grass this morning in front of the Campanille. I suppose he cuts all of the grass on campus because:
1) There are only so many lawns
2) All he does is sit on a tractor-like thing
3) It would be a waste of labor to hire more people just to cut grass
Anyway, wouldn't we save more money by firing him? Or (for the sake of him not losing a job and hence losing his ability to support his family) he could be doing something else... cleaning the toilets in Dwinelle for example... they're begging for some bleach.
How shall we solve the issue of an unkempt lawn? The Berkeley Project could take care of it :). Afterall, we value our volunteers do we not?

ELF, Shopping, and Luaus
ELF order came! I was really excited and then remembered right... $1 quality cosmetics haha!
Connie and I went shopping and she was disappointed because she couldn't find Spring/Summer clothes. Umm... HELLO. BAY AREA NORTHERN CALIFORNIA, our spring starts in May silly. LOL. I spent so much on H&M.
Luau was later that night and Richard, Karen, and I spent a lot of time getting Friday to pee before we left for it. He was the life of the party :) everyone wants to pet the cute puppy lol.
In other news, Rayland is in Baltimore for reasons that make sense only in his world lol. Good thing that includes me!

Pretty Weather Today :)
Karen and I had a little chat about relationships at first. I gave her some advice that I've been ignoring and decided that I should do a little believing too :). After all, not everyone learned from the Trojan Horse fiasco lol.
On a side note, here's Friday!

He's sad because I accidentally woke him up when I took this picture lol.
Tomorrow, I shop with little Connie and off to IC Luau with Friday!
Karen asked me if I missed Rayland. I'll have her know I am no longer a heartless fiend -__-

He's Gone Again :(
Rayland left yesterday morning, but now I have our cute puppy Friday. He's a pekingese puppy and so sweet on the first few days. Then he got vicious lmao. So fiesty now and runs around like crazy.
Even though I have Friday, it still feels insanely lonely :(. So now I have to learn to adjust... AGAIN.

He's Back! :) for now...
On Monday, went to Blue Fin Sushi on Clement. It was A LOT better than I thought it was going to be!
Started off the night with a Lychee Salted Ice (I think that's what it's called haha).

This was pretty much a lychee icee, but watered down and OMG I ate the lychee and apparently it's been soaking in vodka and I swear I almost died LMAO.
Then we had the Albacore Tataki.

This ws amazingly delicious! The fish was seared just right and the sauce was deelish. It was on the $1 special menu (you get it for a dollar if you spend more than $30).
Sashimi combo!

It was really good! The fish was really fresh.
Seabeam Tataki

Ugh... it was GROSS. It was bitter and bland and not a good buy at all. This was the only thing we didn't like.
Volcano Roll!

This was spicy but really good. I've had baked rolls that were better made, but it was really delicious and the salmon was really yummy.
We thought it was gonna be very little food, but we were stuffed and could've gone without the Seabeam Tataki. That was definitely a mistake. Other than that, the mood is nice in there and the cocktails are just $7. Prices is definitely not bad for relatively good sushi.
On Tuesday night, Rayland and I decided we wanted to see the Percy Jackson movie on College. So we walked and wandered around to find dinner. Ended up at Trattoria La Siciliana, because I remembered that Lily recommended it.
Had a yummy salad, Insalata Italiana (forgot to take a picture). It was really good, especially the cheese that was shaved on top.
Rayland ordered their famous lobster linguini (Linguini con Aragosta alla Diavola).

Oh this was really good! Delicious! Except the lobster was slightly over cooked :(. But the linguini was perfect!
I had the braised pork with roasted potatoes (something something Forgno).
....AND I have no idea why it's not letting me put any more pictures. But that was yummy too! A little on the salty side, but the potatoes were perfect :).
The Percy Jackson movie is NOT worth watching in theaters. It had a good story, bad acting, and poor special effects. The cool part? We were the only ones in the theater lol.
Went to Chez Pannise today! I didn't take any pictures but the food and atmosphere was amazing! Hahahaha try for yourself.
So far so good... but I'm sad he's leaving soon :(.
TOMORROW............. going to see the first puppies for puppy shopping!
